Sunshine Equine

This was the next stage, this took a further 2 hours, I simply layed some colour onto a contrasted copy of the original sketch. This artwork is still in progress, the image that will be published in the paper only required to be mono, so this image was taken into photoshop and transferred to mono. Then some light digital manipulation was added just to darken and add depth to certain areas, as well as colour correction and sharpening – Please note that the mono image whilst the final version so far, is prepared for Newspaper printing, this is why it appears over-sharpened and contrasty.

Goodbye Horses

This was the image at the Sketch stage, the time up to this point to produce the artwork was roughly 6 hours.

Money Money

This was the third image I produced this week, for publication in the Racing Post to accompany, some youth fiction being published in the paper. This related to an article about a character who worked in a betting call center; he was stealing information in order for him to place bets and win large sums of money with very low risk to his own spending.
