Rather than wait and sit down this week and do a nice long painting using the reference sketches i decided to jump in tonight enjoy some music for an hour and see what i could do just using the scans, so for an hours work i didnt think it was too bad really. Looking forward to planning an image using the sketches and working out a proper concept and composition.

 I took a trip to the Natural History museum at the weekend and produced a few sketches ranging from 3 hours to 25 minutes.
